About this Document
This document represents the BCN's current thinking about how the members of the network will analyze and communicate the results of our collective effort to the outside world. The ideas and plans presented in this document are ambitious. Some of them may be unrealistic. But we feel that we must try to imagine the limits of what is possible if we are to have any hope of getting there.
We have written this document primarily to help coordinate the work of the members of our network - who are literally spread around the world - during the upcoming months. We have been using drafts of this document as a working tool for over a year. We have, however, now made this document publicly available in the hopes that it will 1) encourage others to provide comments and feedback on our work, and 2) serve a model for similar types of research. If you have any comments or questions, please contact the BCN Program Officers.
This document will change and evolve over time to reflect our enhanced understanding of the projects in the Network and the work that we will need to do to fulfill our mandate. It should thus not be viewed as a static snapshot, but a living record.
