BIODIVERSITY SUPPORT PROGRAM CONSORTIUM
The Biodiversity Support Program -- The Biodiversity Support Program is a consortium of World Wildlife Fund, The Nature Conservancy, and World Resources Institute. It was established in 1988 with funding from the Research and Development Bureau of the United States Agency for International Development. BSP's mission is to work with local communities, non-governmental organizations, and governments to promote conservation of the world's biological diversity.
World Wildlife Fund -- WORLD WILDLIFE FUND (WWF) is the largest private U.S. organization working worldwide to conserve nature. WWF works to preserve the diversity and abundance of life on Earth and the health of ecological systems by protecting natural areas and wildlife populations, promoting sustainable use of natural resources, and promoting more efficient resource and energy use and the maximum reduction of pollution.
The Nature Conservancy -- The Nature Conservancy strives for the preservation of habitats and species by buying the lands and waters they need to survive.
World Resources Institute (WRI) -- An independent center for policy research and technical assistance on global environmental and development issues, the WRI is dedicated to helping governments and private organizations of all types cope with environmental, resource, and development challenges of global significance.
USAID -- The Biodiversity Support Program is funded by the United States Agency for International Development.

Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) -- A nature and environmental web site with a goal to save wildlife and wild lands throughout the world. The site features WCS's environmental educational programs designed to teach biological diversity.
