Take Action on Climate Change
WHAT TO DO
Learn how you can take action on climate change
It is important that your Senators know your opinion on clean energy and climate change legislation. Make your voice heard by calling their offices and letting them know that growing America’s clean energy economy and addressing dangerous climate change is a top priority for you. Make sure the person on the other end of the phone knows who you are, knows that you are a voter, and makes a record of your call.
Remember to call both your Senators.

HOW TO DO IT
Call (202) 224-3121 to be connected with your Senator's office.
When you call, you will be speaking with a member of the Senator's staff. This will not be a policy debate; you are simply urging your Senator to vote yes on a clean energy and climate bill this year. Here is how the call might go:
You: "My name is __________. I’m a voter from ____ [give your hometown]."
"I'm calling to ask the Senator to work towards passing clean energy and climate legislation that will create new jobs, make us less reliant on foreign oil, and address dangerous climate change. I consider this issue a top priority."
Staffer: "May I have your name and address please?"
They will ask for your information; if they don’t ask, give it to them anyway. ["Do you need me to spell my name? I want to make sure the senator knows I called."]
"Thanks."
After speaking with your first Senator’s office, please remain on the line and press the “star” key. The system will then automatically connect you to your second Senator.
