Engaging Business

Businesses can play a vital role in reducing the impacts of climate change. They can do this by implementing technologies that reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.

There is an important link between sound environmental practices and profitable, long-term business sustainability. This makes it increasingly important for businesses to make better use of resources and create more energy-efficient products.

A company’s environmental impact has a measurable effect on its perceived performance and value. WWF partners with companies to set and meet goals to reduce carbon emissions, advance projects to protect their resources from climate impacts, and ensure the sustainability of their core business.

Climate SaversLeading corporations are partnering with WWF to establish ambitious targets to voluntarily reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, as part of WWF’s Climate Savers Program. Collectively, WWF’s Climate Savers partners have reduced GHG emissions by over 50 million tons over the last decade. By increasing efficiency, Climate Savers companies are saving hundreds of millions of dollars, proving again that protecting the environment makes good business sense.
