Through The Coca-Cola Polar Bear Support Fund web site you can learn about polar bears, what you can do to help the planet, send a polar bear e-card to a friend, make a donation to WWF or "adopt" a polar bear. As part of its ongoing commitment to the environment, The Coca-Cola Company contributed $300,000 in 2008 to World Wildlife Fund US to help World Wildlife Fund's efforts to protect polar bears and their habitat.

From November 16 to December 31, 2009, SUBWAY® is introducing reusable lunch bags with every SUBWAY FRESH FIT FOR KIDS™ meal, in four different species designs: Amur leopard, black rhino, cheetah and polar bear. Included with each bag is an endangered species card and sticker, highlighting interesting facts about the selected species and a tip for kids on how to make a difference in their own world. A donation of $100,000 has been made to WWF in conjunction with the 2009 Subway Fresh Fit for Kids™ meal promotion. 
Fluff Friends Facebook Application Supports WWF
With the Fluff Friends Facebook application, users “adopt” and interact with animal avatars -- like pandas, penguins and monkeys -- on their Facebook profile. Social Gaming Network, creator of Fluff Friends, makes an annual donation of $50,000 to WWF in connection with this application.
World Book Encyclopedia Helps WWF Protect the Future of Nature
World Book invited book lovers everywhere to select the spinescape for The World Book Encyclopedia 2009. The winner by an overwhelming margin was the Diversity of Life Spinescape, which underscores the importance of protecting wildlife and preserving fragile ecosystems that are essential to the integrity of life on Earth. World Book has made a donation of $15,000 to WWF in connection with the Diversity of Life design.

The WWF online bookstore features a selection of books written by WWF staff, books funded by WWF, and books recommended by our experts on various topics related to our conservation work. WWF receives between 4 and 8.5 percent of any purchase on Amazon.com originating from this Web site.
