Monks and Nuns Go Green

In November 2013, monks and nuns from across the Himalayas gathered in New Delhi, India. The meeting, a conference for the environmental network of Buddhists called Khoryug, was organized by the Sacred Earth program at WWF. They came to learn, and to share stories of how they protect nature where they live. Here, a glimpse of their efforts to improve the environment at their monasteries and in villages nearby.
