The Kathryn Fuller Science for Nature Fund

Research Registry

The WWF Kathryn Fuller Science for Nature Fund is compiling a Registry of Research Needs that have been identified by WWF's priority conservation sites. The purpose of this registry is to facilitate matchmaking between researchers and WWF's field programs. The Registry is open to faculty and students in all fields of Conservation Science who are interested in doing research that is needed by WWF.

Please note that there is no funding associated with these Research Needs in most cases, as we are targeting faculty who are already working in the region and/or students who are receiving academic credit for their work. WWF scientists and conservation staff will be available to provide input and further guidance beyond what is described in the descriptions below. Further details about WWF's support are included in each research description in the Research Registry. The projects vary in scale, and could be appropriate for a graduate course project, a Master's thesis, or a PhD dissertation, depending on the scope of the project. We are interested in researchers who would like to take on entire projects as listed below, as well as individuals who might want to take on only a piece of those projects.

If you are interested in working on one of these research projects, please email a cover letter, your CV, a writing sample, and a letter of reference to eliot.levine@wwfus.org. If you are a student, please also email the CV or website of the faculty member who will be overseeing your research.
