Dawn Pointer McCleskey has been WWF-US's librarian since 2001. Dawn serves both the Washington headquarters and field offices, offering a range of library services and research support, working with staff continually to improve the services and resources available. She is the steward of the WWF-US publications archive and works on issues of institutional memory and knowledge management.

Before joining WWF, Dawn worked in San Francisco for the Center for Citizen Initiatives, an NGO providing small-enterprise development and business training exchanges for Russian entrepreneurs; and then for The Grove Consultants International, a boutique consultancy specializing in process facilitation and strategic planning. She holds an MLS from the University of Maryland and a BA in Russian Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.
