John Kasaona Biography

John Kasaona is the Deputy Director for the Integrated Rural Development and Nature Conservation (IRDNC) and the Chairperson of NACSO, the umbrella CBNRM organization for all NGOs in Namibia. He was born and raised in one of Namibia’s conservancies, Sesfontein; and it is due to this influence he has chosen conservation as his life ambition. His life story and of Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) in Namibia is now to be shared at the forthcoming TED conference where he will share the main stage with the likes of Bill Gates.
