"On Thin Ice"
WWF is pleased to present our 2007 Public Service Advertising campaign, "On Thin Ice", developed in partnership with New Line Cinema and Scholastic. This PSA is a departure from past WWF campaigns where we used only majestic nature footage. We are trying a new approach, combining animated characters with our captivating nature images to describe the plight of the polar bear. Polar bears can not protect themselves. They need our help if they are to survive. WWF is actively involved in creating ways to reduce the effects of global warming for polar bears and people alike.
"Beautiful Day U.S."
Global warming is the single biggest threat to our environment today and ignoring the problem won't make it go away. WWF is pleased to present our 2007 Public Service Advertising campaign, "Beautiful Day U.S." developed to educate viewers and provide information on how they can begin making changes now. The campaign shows what it would be like to carry out everyday activities in conditions that could be caused if we allow global warming to continue unchecked. The dramatic imagery of the TV spot is contrasted by the whimsical background music of "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" by children's television star Fred Rogers.

"People and Places"
WWF introduces its new Public Service Advertising (PSA) campaign titled "People and Places." The TV and radio campaign was developed to educate viewers on the great conservation work that WWF is doing around the globe. It shows beautiful footage of animals and places that are in grave danger of being lost. It also offers a message of hope and asks you to support our efforts to help save nature's last great places and animals. The PSA is enhanced by the remarkable voice of Emmy Award winner Martin Sheen and the music Julia Fordham.
"A Force for Nature"
WWF's 2004 Public Service Advertising (PSA) campaign is titled "A Force for Nature." The TV and radio PSA is enhanced by the remarkable voice of two-time Academy Award winner Jessica Lange and the music of Grammy-nominated
John Ondrasik and the band Five for Fighting. "Terrasong," featured on the PSA, was written for and donated exclusively to WWF as a celebration of Mother Earth. The PSA campaign showcases the beauty of nature and conveys that we all share Earth's resources--the land, the water, and the sky - and therefore must play a role in leaving our future generations a planet that is abundant in species, healthy oceans, and forests.
We thank all the generous media outlets that donated more than $30 million of airtime and print space for WWF.

"Shelter from the Storm"
WWF's 2001 campaign is titled, "Shelter from the Storm." This video PSA - featuring Bob Dylan's soundtrack "Shelter from the Storm" and the voice of noted actor Donald Sutherland - offers a compelling call to action to help WWF provide shelter to endangered animals and their habitats from the pressures brought by man's abuse of the Earth's natural resources.
"Amazing Grace"
We are proud to report that the combined success of the television, radio and print ad components of this PSA generated more than $28 million of donated airtime and print space for WWF.
