Washington, DC - Looking for a great holiday gift idea? Ever think of adopting a panda, a polar bear or a snow leopard?

World Wildlife Fund is offering the opportunity to protect some of the world's most beloved animals this winter, while providing gift-givers with the chance to do all of their holiday shopping in one easy step.

Here's how it works: Visit WWF's Winter Adoption Center at www.worldwildlife.org/adopt where you can choose to adopt snow leopards, pandas and polar bears. All adoptions include a personalized adoption certificate and computer desktop wallpaper. Higher-level adoptions also qualify to receive AIM icons, screen savers and even a limited edition plush of your adopted animal. And as an extra thank you to visitors who make more than one adoption, WWF will send these special supporters a WWF thermal beverage container.

Gift-givers must make their adoption by NOON (EST) on December 19th in order to ensure their limited edition plush polar bear, snow leopard or panda (if adopting at that level) will be delivered in time for Christmas.

All the money raised through these symbolic adoptions will go to protect the communities of these animals in the wild.

So give your loved ones a unique gift this holiday season, as you help give these magnificent and endangered animals the protection they deserve.
