WWF believes strongly in working in cooperation with other environmental organizations and agencies to help protect wildlife. By partnering with existing organizations, we strengthen our ability to accomplish real goals in environmental policy.

Below are links to the organizations we have worked with on specific issues.

Conservation Biology Institute
(CBI) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) founded in 1997. With its main office in Corvallis, Oregon and branch office in San Diego, California, the mission of CBI is to help save the diversity of life on this planet in two primary ways: applied conservation research and education.

Pacific Forest Trust (PFT) is dedicated to enhancing, restoring and protecting private, productive forests, with a primary focus on California, Oregon and Washington.

Trust for Public Land (TPL)
Land conservation is central to TPL's mission. Founded in 1972, the Trust for Public Land is the only national nonprofit organization working exclusively to protect land for human enjoyment and well-being.

Salmon Safe is a nonprofit organization devoted to restoring water quality and salmon habitat on the agricultural landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.

SmartWood improves the effectiveness of sustainable forestry in conserving biodiversity, by providing equity for local communities, fair treatment to workers, and creating incentives for businesses so that they can benefit economically from responsible forestry practices.

Oregon Water Trust (OWT) restores streamflows with a scientific, market-based, cooperative model. OWT targets efforts in those basins that have historically supported significant fisheries. Within each basin OWT identifies priority streams for which streamflow is a limiting factor for fish habitat and water quality, and where there is potential for acquiring water rights to convert to instream use for flow enhancement.

Oregon Trout (OT) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Their mission is to protect and restore native wild fish and the ecosystems that sustain them.

Trout Unlimited (TU)
Trout Unlimited's mission is to conserve, protect and restore North America's trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds. TU accomplishes this mission on local, state and national levels with an extensive and dedicated volunteer network.

American Rivers is a national nonprofit conservation organization, dedicated to protecting and restoring rivers and the variety of life they sustain. American Rivers was founded in 1973 to increase the number of rivers protected by the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System and to prevent the construction of large new dams on our last wild rivers. Members deliver innovative solutions to improve river health; raise awareness among decision-makers; serve and mobilize the river conservation movement; and collaborate with partners to develop a national river agenda, a unified vision for improving river health across the country.

The Klamath Siskiyou Wildlands Center (KS Wild) defends the outstanding biological diversity of the Klamath and south Cascadian provinces of northern California and southern Oregon.

Siskiyou Project works to protect the ecological integrity and biodiversity of the Siskiyou Mountains.

Oregon Natural Resources Council (ONRC) aggressively defends Oregon's wild lands -- its forests, rivers, coast, and high desert.
