WWF's Lake Okeechobee project
This Web site explains the ecology of the Lake, describes the forces that threaten it, and outlines the restoration programs in place or being planned. Another important purpose of this project is to illustrate the shortcomings of current and proposed restoration programs, and to give readers the tools and information they need to get involved in lake restoration.

Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary
Visit the sanctuary online to learn more about the Florida Keys' marine realm, research, natural resource management and information for visitors.

Everglades National Park
Spanning the southern tip of the Florida peninsula and most of Florida Bay, Everglades National Park is the only subtropical preserve in North America. Learn about its history and culture and check out Everglades facts and fun activities.

Everglades Coalition
World Wildlife Fund is a longtime member of the Everglades Coalition, a collaborative alliance that influences policy and management decisions on the Everglades, and provides a forum for conservationists, scientists and politicians to discuss Everglades issues and share information. Its annual conference routinely draws members of Congress, presidential cabinet members and state leaders. The coalition was a major force in securing the passage of legislation (the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Program) that will bring nearly $8 billion to restore the Everglades over the next several decades.
