“During a WWF tour to Kenya, we traveled to a village in the Maasai Mara Reserve. A group of Maasai women performed a dance to welcome us upon our arrival. They radiated such spirit! They were enthusiastic in their dancing and so happy to show us their handmade crafts and decorative clothing. I appreciated the opportunity to walk around their village to observe their culture firsthand. The people in Kenya truly live as one with nature—surrounded by wildlife, with all their needs provided by resources of the land.”
