With over 10 years of experience in international development, innovative finance, and agriculture value chains, Dan McQuillan is the Director of Agriculture & Innovative Finance at WWF US, where he focuses on landscape finance models and blended finance for the climate transition in agriculture. Prior to joining WWF, Dan was the Co-Director of Isidro, a $3 M impact investment fund that provides capital and technical assistance to impactful and underserved agriculture enterprises and cooperatives in Latin America and Africa. Dan spent 7 years living in Central America & Mexico managing a portfolio of agriculture projects valued at $10 M. In this role, he led a diverse team which set and achieved ambitious social development and environmental targets. Dan holds a Master's degree in Development Practice, with a certificate in Tropical Agriculture, from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. He is fluent in French and Spanish. He is passionate about building the capacity of and investing in smallholder farmers and their local organizations and promoting regenerative agriculture practices that enhance environmental and social outcomes at a landscape scale.
