Dina brings more than 25 years’ experience in program development and management, strategic planning, philanthropy, operations, and team leadership to her role as Vice President and Deputy Lead for WWF’s Markets Institute.

Dina has spent her career in organizations working on climate change, biodiversity conservation, agriculture, fisheries and oceans protection, and environmental health. In previous roles at WWF, Dina served as Deputy Lead for the Market Transformation Program and head of foundation philanthropy. While at Climate Central, she helped launch World Weather Attribution, a global program to understand the role of climate change in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. As Vice President for Institutional Giving at Environmental Defense Fund, Dina oversaw a $75 million annual foundation fundraising program and led the redesign of EDF’s strategic planning approach. She held similar fundraising leadership and strategic planning positions at Conservation International, World Resources Institute and The Wilderness Society. Dina’s career started in politics, with the Democratic National Committee. Born and raised in California, Dina holds a degree in International Development from the University of California at Berkeley with a concentration on food policy in Sub-Saharan Africa.
