Elizabeth Lien has nearly 20 years of development, climate and environmental policy experience. She leads on WWF’s Federal climate policy and leads WWF’s team that oversees the America Is All In, the largest coalition of subnational climate leaders ever assembled in the United States. Elizabeth led on international climate finance work for the U.S. Treasury Department’s climate hub after managing the development policy office at U.S. Treasury. Elizabeth is an expert in net-zero and climate-aligned finance, having led the Treasury Department’s work to develop net-zero principles for private financial institutions. She has experience with international climate negotiations and international food security issues, having served as the U.S. Board member of the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
