Jonelle Palmer
Program Officer, US Government Partnerships
As a Program Officer on the US Government Partnerships Team, Jonelle works collaboratively to secure funding for WWF’s priority projects through proposal development, management, and research. She works across project areas, specializing in small grants.
Before joining WWF, Jonelle managed proposals and partnerships with Planet Aid to access funding for community-led climate adaptation mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa and Brazil. She holds a master’s degree in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development from American University and spent a year living in Costa Rica as part of the program. Prior to entering the partnerships field, Jonelle worked with the International Rescue Committee managing cases for resettled refugees in Baltimore.
