Senior Program Officer, Global Food Loss & Waste
Samantha Kenny is a member of the WWF-US Food Waste Team, specializing in strategies to address food loss and waste in the hospitality and food service sectors. She manages the pre-competitive guidance platforms HotelKitchen.org and 86FoodWaste.com. Samantha serves as technical expert on corporate partnerships, including with Sodexo Group, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Royal Caribbean Group, and Starbucks, to implement food waste reduction strategies at the site and portfolio levels.
Additionally, she contributes to the United Nations One Planet Global Tourism Food Waste Roadmap and coordinates the global team of WWF food loss and waste experts for WWF's Our Circular Food Future Global Initiative. Samantha holds a BA in Environmental Studies from American University College of Arts and Sciences, an MS in Sustainability Management from the American University Kogod School of Business, and a Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism Destination Management.
