AILEEN B. TRAIN serves as an honorary member of the board of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. She is a former member of the WWF-US and WWF-International boards. Train was chairman of the Maryland Nature Conservancy and a founder and chairman of Concern, Inc., an environmental organization. Other boards she has served on include Foxcroft School, the Corcoran Gallery, the Wildfowl Trust of North America, and the Women’s Committee of the Smithsonian Institution. Train is a member of the board of the Summit Fund of Washington and is on the advisory board of Second Genesis, Inc., a drug rehabilitation program. For many years she was a nurse’s aide at Walter Reed Hospital and worked as a volunteer at Planned Parenthood. Train graduated from Foxcroft School and attended Wellesley College.
