ALEX ROUX is a managing partner of Roux Ventures LLC and an independent app developer and founder of HALO Hunters Safety App, an app designed to help prevent accidental hunter-on-hunter shootings. Through his work with HALO, he has partnered with the International Hunter Education Association (IHEA) and other international wildlife management organizations. Previously Roux was a product marketing intern for Google Apps for Education, an associate product marketing manager for Android OS and hardware, and a product marketing manager for Android for Google. He has volunteered with Camp PALS and the Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula, and has a BA in government and sociology from Harvard University. He and his wife, Julia, live in New York City.
