CHERYL OLSETH is director of the Olseth Family Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to improve community through support of the arts, education, the environment and the underserved. The foundation works with WWFs Northern Great Plains, supporting habitat conservation, including preservation of the black-footed ferret and swift fox, as well as bison reintroduction and management on tribal lands. An avid community activist and volunteer, Olseth chairs WWF’s Northern Great Plains advisory committee and currently serves on the board of The Advocates for Human Rights . She is a past board member of Planned Parenthood North Central States, Friends of the Hennepin County Library, the Alzheimer’s Association and Climate Generation’s advisory council. She holds a BA in biology from St. Olaf Collage and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
