CHERYL OLSETH is director of the Olseth Family Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to improve community through support of the arts, education, the environment, and the underserved. The foundation works with WWF and students from Aaniiih Nakoda College on several habitat conservation projects. These projects focus on the preservation of the black-footed ferret and the swift fox, as well as Northern Great Plains bison management. An avid community activist and volunteer, Olseth serves on
the board of Planned Parenthood MN, ND, SD and the board of Friends of the Hennepin County Library. She is a past board member of the Alzheimer’s Association. She holds a BA in biology from St. Olaf College and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
