Jocelyn Starzak
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Jocelyn Starzak is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for WWF. For over 25 years Jocelyn has provided both for-profit and non-profit organizations with pragmatic advice to address both legal risks and organizational needs.
Jocelyn leads the legal function for WWF: advising on complex partnerships, new entities, contracts and agreements, technology, governance, litigation, tax, regulatory compliance, fundraising, intellectual property, and other areas. Immediately prior to joining WWF, Jocelyn served as General Counsel for World Resources Institute where she served as the organization’s first General Counsel and established the legal department. Other nonprofits for which Jocelyn worked include TechnoServe and Special Olympics International. She began her legal career working at several law firms, where she represented early-stage technology companies.
Jocelyn holds a J.D from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. in international relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
