LOREN WENGERD is an avid outdoor enthusiast. He is founder and CEO of Aircado, Inc., a privately held wireless broadband company focused on increasing high-speed data connectivity to smaller towns and communities across the US. He also utilized a theory he developed at Yale on energy transfer dynamics in sound and acoustics to found Halo Systems, an audio, video, lighting and acoustics company that harnesses revolutionary and proprietary sound wave behavior modeling as a part of architectural design and room acoustic optimization. Prior to Halo Systems, Wengerd founded Eaglemont, a children’s educational content development company, which garnered 45 awards for its children’s book series Adventures of Riley®. He sold the series to Scholastic Books in 2008. As a professional photographer, Wengerd has worked on all seven continents. He holds a bachelor of arts in music from Yale University and has lectured on technology, interactive media, education and energy transfer dynamics at Harvard, Yale and international professional conferences.
