Deposit: A deposit of $500 per person, payable by credit card or check made out to WWF, confirms your space. A signed waiver of liability is due within two weeks. The final balance is due 90 days prior to departure. For those who paid their deposits by credit card, the final balance will be charged automatically on that date to the credit card on file for you. For those who wish to pay the final payment by check, the check is due on or before 90 days prior to departure and should be made out to Natural Habitat Adventures, WWF’s tour operator for this program. If your payment is not received by the due date, the reservation is subject to cancellation.
Cancellations & refunds: Cancellation must be received in writing at WWF, by postal mail, email or fax. Cancellations processed 90 or more calendar days prior to departure will result in a $100 cancellation fee per person (though some trips have non-refundable deposits, as noted in your confirmation letter). Cancellations made within 45 to 89 calendar days prior to departure will result in a loss of 50% of the entire program fee, including extensions. Cancellations made within 44 calendar days prior to departure will result in a loss of the entire program fee.
Singles & shares: Travelers who would prefer a single room (not available on some trips or portions of some trips) may have one at a single-room surcharge. We cannot always guarantee single accommodations even after reservations and confirmations have been made. We will be happy to attempt to make a roommate match for those who choose. If we cannot arrange a match, only 50% of the single supplement fee will apply.
What to expect: Rating: Easy and flexible. This adventure travel opportunity does not require a high degree of physical fitness although some short walks may be required should you wish to participate in every activity. Our tour operator has prepared for a variety of ways to view bears but cannot guarantee which manner will be used due to the permit requirements at any given time. Also, be aware that since the area we are visiting is full of bears, natural dangers do exist. We try to be as careful as possible, but we can never fully predict the behavior of wild animals.
