Kaleo frontman, JJ Julius Son, supports conservation with musical feature in WWF video series

Much like music, nature can inspire our hearts and minds—from the sounds of birds chirping to the sight of whales breeching. For more than 50 years, WWF has endeavored to protect the future of nature.

Today, WWF is proud to collaborate with JJ Julius Son from Icelandic rock band Kaleo on a video series featuring their song, "I Can't Go on Without You." The series of three videos aim to raise awareness and support for WWF's global conservation efforts to safeguard wildlife and wild places.

"I am proud to work with WWF in an effort that is very close to my heart. By growing up in Iceland, one of the largest unspoiled areas in Europe, I believe in preserving the natural world and its beauty," says JJ, Kaleo's frontman. "Conservation is a vital part of protecting this planet and deserves global support."

JJ's favorite animal, the polar bear, receives protections under the Endangered Species Act, our nation’s most effective law to protect at-risk species from extinction. However, other threatened and endangered species listed under the Endangered Species Act in the future may be denied the same protections. Currently, the Administration is working to fundamentally undermine the law by gutting regulatory protections for threatened wildlife, and drastically reducing the role of science in future decision-making.

One of the many ways you can support WWF's efforts is to join us and JJ in letting the Administration know you oppose these changes and want to keep preserving and protecting our nation's wildlife.
