Program Officer, Sustainable Food
Nicole Condon is a Senior Program Officer on the Seafood Markets team at WWF-US where she is responsible for leading WWF’s Global Markets seafood engagement strategy that brings industry leaders together in key markets around the world to drive conservation impacts on the water. Nicole additionally engages with multinational corporations that are interested in developing more sustainable and traceable seafood supply chains for their global operations, and more broadly for their respective industries. Prior to joining WWF in 2014, she worked as a research scientist studying marine ecology, fisheries science, and deep-sea biology. This research has directly translated to her work at WWF, assisting companies in understanding the science and policy behind responsible seafood procurement choices. She has received a M.S. in Sustainability Management from the Kogod School of Business at American University, a M.S. in Oceanography from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of New England.
