WWF works to sustain the natural world for the benefit of people and wildlife, collaborating with partners from local to global levels in nearly 100 countries.
Program Associate, Russell E. Train Education for Nature Program (EFN)
Since joining WWF in 2008 Niloofar has been part of the Russell E. Train Education for Nature Program (EFN), providing financial support to conservationists in Africa, Asia, and Latin America tackling conservation challenges in their home countries.
Currently, Niloofar manages a five year capacity building program in Mozambique, as well as EFN’s Professional Development Grant, Reforestation Grant, and Alumni Grant Programs. She works with WWF experts to design programs that identify the conservation capacity needs on critical and emerging topics across the world.
With a passion to strengthen EFN’s network of over 2,000 grant recipients, Niloofar has also spent time enhancing the alumni program. One of the ways she has managed to do so is by establishing a social media presence on Facebook and LinkedIn to inform members of courses, training, and grant opportunities in the greater conservation community.
