Offset Your Travel Footprint

Amazon aerial

Travel-related activities account for up to 14 percent of worldwide greenhouse gas emissions, according to the United Nations Environmental Program. The solution is not necessarily to stop traveling, but to travel differently.

WWF partners with nature tour company Natural Habitat Adventures to offer an environmentally friendly travel option to see wildlife around the world. All aspects of Nat Hab journeys, including in-country flights and activities, are carbon neutral; the only portion not offset are your roundtrip flights between your hometown and the starting/ending points of the trip.

Would you consider offsetting the carbon emissions from your international flights?

About your Offset

WWF endorses the Gold Standard for carbon offsets in the energy sector. Gold Standard projects are high-quality initiatives that make investments in clean energy or efficient production and also contribute to the sustainable development of the countries in which they are hosted.
