A collage saying the scene is set, climate promises must be kept, keep 1.5 alive

This fall presents an incredible opportunity for us to make a real impact with climate action. Your role as a Panda Ambassador is crucial to helping us achieve meaningful progress at key climate events. With the release of the Living Planet Report and other significant moments like Climate Week and COP29, your passion, creativity, and leadership are critical. Let's join forces to amplify our message and push for the change our planet urgently needs.

Why This Fall Matters

The next five years are pivotal for putting nature on a path to recovery by 2030. Launching in early October, The Living Planet Report 2024 will bring to light the critical tipping points we face and emphasize the need for immediate action. With key events where decisionmakers will gather such as The UN General Assembly, Climate Week and COP29 on the horizon, now is the time to mobilize and demand action from leaders worldwide. Together, we can drive the momentum for a more sustainable future!

VIDEO TIPS

These tips will help make sure the videos we receive are aligned and usable:

  • Please film “selfie-style” with space for us to add text overlay
  • Please ensure there is enough space between the bottom of the frame and your face so captions can be overlaid in the edit
  • If filmed on your phone, please turn on airplane mode so there are no interruptions
  • We recommend recordings are no longer than 90 seconds

We want to showcase stories from people all over the world discussing the impacts of climate change and nature loss. We invite you to share your personal experiences, observations, or reflections on how climate change has affected your community.

Purpose: To bring a personal and human element to climate change by showcasing stories and experiences, inspiring others to take action through the power of storytelling.

How to Participate: Submit a short video to [email protected] sharing your perspective on climate change. Tell us about the changes you've seen, the challenges your community faces, and the solutions about which you are passionate. These stories will paint a vivid picture of climate change and inspire others to take action.

Question prompts to consider answering in your video:

  • What does nature loss and climate change mean to you? What impacts have you felt?
  • What keeps you hopeful about the future? What solutions are you a part of or what do you want to see that puts the planet on a path to recovery?

Let's use the power of storytelling to highlight the urgency of this moment and the hope that lies in taking collective action.
