WWF’s Statement on Non-Discrimination

As one of the world's leading conservation organizations, WWF works around the globe with colleagues, partners, governments, and communities from different cultures and countries that have been shaped by a vast breadth of values, beliefs, and experiences.

Guided by our Panda Principles, we stand firmly against discrimination in every aspect of our work. We are committed to ensuring that no qualified employees, applicants, members, or other individuals is excluded from participation in or denied access to our membership, employment, or service opportunities on the basis of race, ancestry, creed, religion, color, personal appearance, national origin, citizenship, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, veteran status, family responsibilities, the presence of any sensory, physical or mental disability, learning disability, matriculation, membership in any labor organization, lawful source of income, political affiliation, or political ideology or any other protected characteristic under federal, state, or local law. This commitment aligns with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 40 C.F.R. Parts 5 and 7.

WWF expressly prohibits any form of intimidation or retaliation against any individual or group who takes action against discrimination, files a complaint alleging discrimination, or participates in the investigation of such a complaint in accordance with the above authorities.

Reporting Concerns

Any person or group that believes discrimination has occurred may file a complaint by using WWF’s ethics reporting hotline which is available at https://wwf.navexone.com or by calling 1-844-654-6517 (anonymous reporting is available). In addition, questions or complaints may be directed to WWF’s Integrity & Risk team (contact below) which is responsible for the coordination of compliance efforts and receipt of inquiries concerning non-discrimination requirements implemented by 40 C.F.R. Parts 5 and 7.

Once made aware of a complaint, WWF is committed to commencing a prompt and thorough review of the allegations. The complaint will be kept confidential to the extent possible, consistent with a full and thorough investigation. If the investigation determines that unlawful discrimination has occurred, WWF will take appropriate remedial action to stop the discrimination. Both the reporter and the subject of the complaint will be advised of the outcome of the investigation.
