Gap Inc. has supported WWF since August 2008 through its “Give & Get” shopping events. Several times a year for one weekend only, shoppers at Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy and Piper Lime get 30% off their purchases, and Gap donates 5% off their purchases to the customer’s favored charity. WWF has been selected to participate multiple times, consistently ranking in the top three most popular charities among Gap customers. Gap promotes the events through social media, web and email. To date, shoppers have raised over $1.8 million in support of WWF’s mission to protect the future of nature around the world.
