• Third Pole GeoLab

  WWF developed and launched Third Pole GeoLab, an interactive web-based tool and database for snow leopard conservation, climate change, and water security issues in Asia’s high mountains, as part of our USAID-funded project, Conservation and Adaptation in Asia’s High Mountain Communities and Landscapes.

  

• Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods in Kyrgyzstan

  In order to diversify the incomes of poor herders and encourage their participation in snow leopard conservation efforts, the WWF Asia High Mountains Project is working with women from three project communities in the buffer zone of the remote Sarychat Ertash State Reserve in eastern Kyrgyzstan.
