Following the 2012 Fuller Symposium, a full-day Wildlife Crime Experts Workshop was held at WWF US Headquarters in Washington, D.C. This Workshop focused on Rethinking Conventional Responses: Integrated Approaches in the Fight against Wildlife Crime.
More than 100 experts from the conservation, development, forestry, finance, markets, defense, technology, media and marketing, and enforcement sectors were convened in this Wildlife Crime Experts Workshop, to debate key issues pertaining to wildlife crime. Participating experts sought to identify where integrated responses can leverage benefits to conservation and further effective policies in the areas of development, security, and governance.
