Living with Asian elephants

Thailand’s Kui Buri National Park is a sanctuary for elephants in Thailand. Because Kui Buri is primarily surrounded by farmland, elephants who travel outside of the park in search of food often come face-to-face with people. These encounters can be deadly and dangerous for both the elephants and local communities. WWF works with local park authorities to minimize human-wildlife interactions and protect both the elephants and the local community.
