Freezing the Footprint of Food

Pete Pearson

Pete Pearson, Vice President Food, Food Loss and Waste June, 2020

Today, 7.3 billion people consume 1.6 times what the Earth’s natural resources can supply. By 2050, the world’s population will reach 9 billion and the demand for food will double. Learn how WWF works with communities, industry leaders, governments, and others to feed the world while conserving the Earth’s precious natural resources. We will discuss how the issues of agriculture and food loss and waste are of critical importance to that work, and the impacts of COVID-19 on the global food system.
