Trisha Patel
Program Officer, Earth for Life
Trisha joined WWF in 2018 as a Senior Administrative Assistant and worked her way into Earth for Life’s (EFL) program efforts. As Program Officer, Trisha serves as project manager for priority work under the newly expanded EFL program and the Conservation Areas Initiative (CAI). These priorities include the Bezos Earth Fund grant for Project Finance for Permanence (PFP) and planning for implementation of the CBD’s post-Aichi targets under the new Global Biodiversity Framework.
Prior to joining WWF, Trisha worked in grassroots organizing and community engagement for women’s rights at the Feminist Women’s Health Center in Atlanta, Georgia, managing the 200+ volunteer and intern program and fostering partnerships with other community organizations. She also worked with the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum (NAPAWF) as an Organizer, which entailed assisting in the development and sustainability of NAPAWF chapters and supporting membership and grassroots fundraising goals.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies from the College of Charleston. Outside of her advocacy work, Trisha has additional experience as an Executive Assistant and Media Marketing Specialist in the competitive hospitality sector.
