My membership
How does Membership in WWF work?
By donating online, in the mail or via WWFGifts, your gift makes you a WWF Member. Members can receive thank-you items such as calendars and tote bags, invites to symposiums and to travel, and exclusive supporter communications such as our e-news updates, WORLDWILDLIFE Magazine or our digital Digest.
How do membership renewals work?
While we no longer send paper membership cards, we do send reminders when it's time to renew your membership, but a gift to any appeal will extend your membership for 12 months.
Why am I still getting renewal notices when I’ve already donated?
Sometimes mailings cross in the mail stream as we prepare mailings far in advance of their postmarked date.
Can I support WWF with my donor advised fund (DAF), traditional IRA, or appreciated assets?
Many donors choose their DAFs, traditional IRAs and appreciated assets (like stocks) to make a gift to WWF because it can have a great impact on our mission, while maximizing their charitable impact.

Simply call or email us to let us know that you don't wish to be called for fundraising purposes, and we'll be happy to add that to your donation record.
I’m not a member, but can you remove me from your mailing list?
If you are not a member of WWF and are receiving invitations to join, it’s likely that another like-minded organization has shared your name and address with us. To let us know you wish to be removed please email us at [email protected] and include your name and address exactly as it appears on the envelope. Please allow up to 6 weeks to take effect.
How can I stop mail coming to someone else who has passed away or who no longer lives at my address?
