On an Indonesian island, saving the world's largest sea turtles
Since WWF and NOAA began funding leatherback monitoring here in 2017, local communities have reduced leatherback turtle egg poaching from about 60% to virtually zero—a staggering achievement when meaningful progress is typically measured in decades.
