AMANDA BROTMAN is the founder and designer of AMANDA PEARL, a small, NYC-based direct-to-consumer company known for fairly priced, sustainably, and ethically made fine jewelry that is designed to empower. Inspired by her Pacific Northwest roots, her work references her shaping influences throughout life: nature, science, music, and the visual and performing arts. A Seattle native, she moved to New York in 1999 to attend Barnard College where she earned a degree in Art History and Visual Arts. Upon graduating, Amanda joined renowned designer Marc Jacobs where she spent the following years in the technical design and production departments, honing her understanding of materials, construction, and global manufacturing. She then served as Collection Director for another small NYC brand before decamping to launch AMANDA PEARL. Besides WWF’s National Council, Amanda has been on the board of The School of American Ballet since 2015, currently serving on the Student Life Committee, and as co-chair of the Brand Task Force.
