With 2021 coming to a close, I want to reflect on the conservation impact we’ve made throughout the year. Thanks to our supporters and partners in conservation, we’ve turned another unprecedented and challenging year into one fueled with progress toward a more sustainable world.

Explore just a few of our successes in 2021

We continued to protect wildlife and saw endangered tiger populations rebound.

We also worked with partners to return bison to Rosebud Sioux Tribal lands.

The Coalition to End Wildlife Trafficking Online blocked or removed more than 11 million listings since 2018 for endangered live animals.

Reaching into a bin of compost waste.

We developed a new food loss and waste action plan, leading to the Zero Food Waste Act introduced in Congress to cut food waste in half.

We are standing up for heirs’ property rights in Mississippi to help conserve forestland.

In the Northern Great Plains, we are supporting ranchers in advancing grazing practices to improve the health of the land and engaging consumers to reseed grassland and flower habitats.
