The Climate Resilient Enduring Earth for Bolivia and Namibia (CREE BN) Project is a multi-country initiative that strengthens the long-term climate resilience and financial sustainability of large-scale protected and conserved areas. Implemented by WWF in partnership with national governments and local stakeholders, the project applies the proven Project Finance for Permanence (PFP) model to address persistent funding gaps and systemic barriers to protected area management.

Over a 10-year period, the project will blend Green Climate Fund resources with increasing government commitments and philanthropic co-finance to secure durable protection for approximately 59 million hectares of globally significant ecosystems, including savannas, forests, and arid landscapes. By ensuring predictable and sustained financing, CREE BN supports ecosystem integrity, biodiversity conservation, and climate adaptation for both nature and people.
