Join WWF for Lobby Day 2026

April 13–14, 2026

WWF’s Lobby Day is a powerful two-day experience that brings supporters together in Washington, DC to advocate directly with members of Congress on the issues that matter most for nature and people.

This year we are coming together to elevate grasslands - one of America’s most iconic ecosystems. From family ranches to Tribal lands, from wildlife habitat to working landscapes, grasslands play a critical role in supporting biodiversity, rural livelihoods, and natural climate solutions. Yet these landscapes continue to be lost and degraded at a rapid pace.

Lobby Day gives you the opportunity to speak directly with lawmakers and their staff about why grasslands deserve national attention and long-term investment. Your voice as a constituent helps show Congress that protecting these lands is not just an environmental issue - it is about wildlife, food systems, local economies, and the health of communities across the country.

This year’s focus also creates a chance to advance bipartisan conservation solutions that bring together people from different regions and political backgrounds around shared values: stewardship, resilience, and the protection of places we all depend on.

You will be fully supported with training, materials, and guidance from WWF experts so you can walk into every meeting prepared, confident, and ready to make an impact.

Lobby Day 2026 is an opportunity to help ensure grasslands are recognized as essential to America’s conservation future.

Ready to step into a leadership role? Past participants are encouraged to serve as Team Leaders, helping prepare their group for congressional meetings and acting as the main point of contact on Lobby Day.

Team Leaders will:

  • Familiarize themselves with assigned legislators’ backgrounds and positions (materials provided by WWF).
  • Guide their group from meeting to meeting on Capitol Hill.
  • Introduce their group as part of WWF’s delegation.
  • Steer meeting discussions and send follow-up emails with WWF-provided materials.
  • Report back to WWF on how meetings went.

Team Leaders aren’t required to do all the talking—discussions should be driven by all participants sharing their personal perspectives and WWF’s key messages.
