Food waste is an industry-wide challenge in the hospitality sector, and reducing that waste is good for both nature and a company’s bottom line and brand image. Research shows that guests prefer brands that are actively trying to improve their sustainability efforts.

WWF created the Hotel | Kitchen program to engage the hospitality industry on food waste prevention strategies and it is now being used by properties and brands around the world.

This toolkit is a new resource designed to equip the hospitality industry with resources to communicate with their guests about food waste.

Full Toolkit

The full toolkit includes guest insights from in-person research and testing, strategy and design for activation opportunities, two ready-made campaign options, and concepts to inspire and customize for your own brand and needs.
