Allie Hines

Allie Hines is the Senior Program Officer of WWF’s Circular Food Future Global Initiative. The initiative aims to help governments set and achieve a 50% reduction in food waste while reducing food losses in the supply chain through the Sustainable Development Goal 12.3. In this role, Allie coordinates across the WWF Network to support food loss and waste programs and initiative acceleration. Before joining WWF in 2019, Allie helped coordinate freshwater and food initiatives, strengthening cross-cutting work and leveraging collaborative platforms. Allie previously worked in communications for the National Farmers Market Coalition and as project coordinator for local food initiatives in Augusta, Georgia. She received her BA in Communications Studies from the University of Georgia and has facilitation and project management certifications.
