Iris Mwanza

Iris Mwanza grew up in Zambia in a family deeply committed to wildlife conservation. She is an accomplished author and international development specialist. Previously, she served as the Deputy Director of Women in Leadership at the Gates Foundation; Director of Community Health Roadmap; and President and Executive Director of the BroadReach Institute for Training and Education. Early in her career, Mwanza worked as a corporate lawyer in both Zambia and the United States. She holds an MA and PhD in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, along with law degrees from Cornell University and the University of Zambia.
