Karen W. Wagoner

KAREN W. WAGONER is retired from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where she was a Credit Risk Specialist in Large Bank Supervision. Wagoner was formerly a managing director at Merrill Lynch and was responsible for developing and implementing regulatory compliant risk management policies. She and her husband Donald lived and worked in Southeast Asia, Europe and the UK for 15 years. They have travelled extensively with WWF and on their own. They have developed a special fondness for Nepal and actively support WWF conservation and community projects in and around Royal Bardia National Park. The Wagoners provide scholarship support for and enjoy interacting with students who plan to pursue a future in wildlife conservation. Karen is a trustee emerita of Muhlenberg College and serves on the President’s Council of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. She received a BA from Muhlenberg College and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
