Mary Jane Chandler is a passionate advocate for food justice, biodiversity, and sustainable food systems. As Program Officer for WWF's Food Waste Warrior Program, she supports K-12 schools nationwide to reduce cafeteria food waste through education and analysis. With a Master of Science in Food Studies from Syracuse University and a biology degree from Georgia Tech, her expertise spans regional food recovery networks, sustainable organics management, and community food systems. A former Peace Corps teacher in Guinea, Mary Jane combines food, education, and policy to champion impactful food initiatives.
