Olha Krushelnytska

Senior Director, International Financial Institutions

Olha Krushelnytska is Senior Director, International Financial Institutions at WWF. She has more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of finance, investment, and sustainable development, spanning international financial institutions, governments, and the private sector.

Her work has focused on translating economic and environmental priorities into financial strategies, investment approaches, and opportunities for capital deployment. She has worked with multilateral development banks, finance ministries, institutional investors, and private-sector partners across global markets.

Before joining WWF, Olha held senior roles at the World Bank and Global Environment Facility, where her work spanned sustainable and blended finance, capital markets, investment structuring, and financial sector policy. At the World Bank, she led sustainable and nature finance work for the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action, working with finance ministries from more than 90 countries and major international financial institutions. At the Global Environment Facility, she helped structure blended finance investment vehicles and directed strategy and partnerships for a $2 billion environmental finance portfolio. Earlier in her career, she worked across the World Bank's finance and environment practices, including on financial-sector reform, natural capital, and blue economy investment.

At WWF, Olha focuses on mobilizing public and private capital for nature by connecting economic and financial analysis, policy, and investment. She works with development banks, governments, investors, and partners across WWF to identify and scale investment opportunities and strengthen the role of nature in financial and investment decision-making.

Olha serves on the Board of Directors of The Ocean Foundation and has authored publications on sustainable finance, blended finance, capital markets, and nature finance. She is a CFA charterholder.
