Sammi Lin
Associate Specialist, Policy and Government Affairs
As an associate specialist with WWF’s Policy and Government Affairs team, Sammi works to strengthen relationships with US Government partners and pursue opportunities to fund conservation around the world. She supports proposal management and development as well as advancing policy across WWF’s priority areas.
Sammi is a former 2023 BRIDGE intern with WWF’s Great Plains team, where she conducted research to identify opportunities to overcome barriers in accessing federal conservation payments for Native ranchers. Prior to joining WWF, she had experience working with domestic and international non-governmental organizations and startups across New York City, Mexico, Ecuador, Vietnam, and South Africa to support small-holder agricultural producers and drive community development. Sammi holds a bachelor’s degree in international agriculture and rural development from Cornell University. Hailing from Queens, N.Y., in her free time Sammi can be found testing out new recipes, reading, studying new languages, or exploring the new city where she lives.
